Abelardo Janpier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Abelardo Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Abelardo Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Gronow in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Moises Gayoso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Ildefonso Foro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 44th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Todd Gronow made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Todd Gronow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Todd Gronow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 60th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Anthony Alvarado in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Enzo Cope. Abelardo Janpier had great luck who in the 65thth minute grab hold of the ball when Julian Murillo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Abelardo Janpier made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Todd Gronow in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 minutes of play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Ildefonso Foro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Mariusz Ratulowski replaced Todd Gronow. In the 85th match minute, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariusz Ratulowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Eliseo Mina fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abelardo Janpier, passed just outside the right post. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
