Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Urdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Hannes Albäck did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannes Albäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hannes Albäck. Hannes Albäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Urdin in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ćićo Doro ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of play forced Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s goalkeeper Hannes Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannes Albäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Urdin. A collision led to Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ćićo Doro hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavino Urdin to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Urdin in the 58th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Lechințan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Hannes Albäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Hannes Albäck made a huge save. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ made a substitution. Cristian Grozuță replaced Renos Papageorgiou. After a rather tough play, Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Bror Bolander got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 90 played minutes Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Ćićo Doro. The Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
