Mieszko Jarmulowicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Mieszko Jarmulowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mieszko Jarmulowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 16th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mieszko Jarmulowicz. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zorko Quack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of EngTULIO&Tupipano:s goal. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Iuri Andrade:s penalty. In the 27th minute, Iuri Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EngTULIO&Tupipano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by EngTULIO&Tupipano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Zorko Quack stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. EngTULIO&Tupipano's Fanis Tsangaris was substituted for David Ageeh Clayton. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mieszko Jarmulowicz was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mieszko Jarmulowicz in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Mieszko Jarmulowicz sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Jarmulowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
