After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Tobiasz Gniech managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moneteria's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobiasz Gniech was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobiasz Gniech scored 2-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moneteria's Kacper Tobias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Tobiasz Gniech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Maciej Trynda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. When Maciej Trynda came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Moneteria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Trynda couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Trynda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Moneteria were awarded a corner. Fabian Mierzwa went to the cornerflag to take it. Fabian Mierzwa made a great header on Moneteria's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. When Maciej Trynda came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Moneteria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Trynda couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Moneteria players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
