Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Chandeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anton Axelsson who took care of the corner kick. Aioros FC's Saverio Alcocer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 30th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Milagros Fraga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aioros FC's Beat Vid did a great save. 32 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Beat Vid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beat Vid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Aioros FC's Bento Chandeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 40 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bento Chandeiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beat Vid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Domingo Perón reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 54th minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beat Vid narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Anton Axelsson in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aioros FC's Cai Jun Yu was substituted for Domingo Perón. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beat Vid having to make a save. Aioros FC's Beat Vid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 77th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Eliseo Mina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Beat Vid quite easily take care of the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Chandeiro in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
