When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gustavo Eladio sped through Capibaribe Stars's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomás Toscano. Amancio Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Thomás Toscano came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. BELGRANO's Rigoberto Lauaxeta. After taking down the ball on Capibaribe Stars's corner Wilton Fontes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martin Rito quite easily take care of the ball. Mihnea Zamfir kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Ovando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomás Toscano was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the match was over Capibaribe Stars could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C. A. BELGRANO throughout the match.
