Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eustacio Lamberto started the match with the kick off. Casimiro Iago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 7th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the Guanacos defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casimiro Iago. The Guanacos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casimiro Iago should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Agustín Saelices made a precise shot to the right of Casimiro Iago. Guanacos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Iago was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. 26 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casimiro Iago. Guanacos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Camilo Gisbert with Luis Andino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 31st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Iago saved Guanacos from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. 38 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Casimiro Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustín Saelices scored 0-10 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Iago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guanacos's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Guanacos's Casimiro Iago managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Guanacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Juvenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guanacos's Casimiro Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 48th minute of play. In the 49th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Agustín Saelices almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guanacos's Casimiro Iago did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

After some careless play in the Guanacos defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casimiro Iago. The Guanacos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casimiro Iago should have stopped the shot. Primitivo Andino had several of the Guanacos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-12 score and a disappointed Casimiro Iago as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 60th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casimiro Iago. Casimiro Iago yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. 65 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-15. Casimiro Iago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casimiro Iago came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 72nd minute. In the 74th play minute Cristian Sancho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Casimiro Iago. 0-17. Guanacos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristian Sancho 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-18. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casimiro Iago. Casimiro Iago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-19. Guanacos's Casimiro Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 84th minute of play. Casimiro Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 85th minute of the match. The Guanacos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casimiro Iago should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Casimiro Iago in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casimiro Iago made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guanacos throughout the match.
