Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Hug made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Angelino Clemencin immediately put the ball in play. Paulo Pierres's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Orlandus saved Guanacos from getting behind. Paulo Pierress short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Marcelo Mendebal sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Pierres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After having played for 22 minutes, Paulo Pierres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guanacos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Pierres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelino Clemencin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Rigoberto Mina charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Mina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Ricardo Hug from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 28th match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Esdras to maneuver through the defense. Eustaquio Martxelin came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustaquio Martxelin's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Martxelin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Angelino Clemencin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Eustaquio Martxelin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Martxelin. Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Martxelin was the one to do the kick off. When Guanacos's Marcelo Mendebal in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. A nice corner shot did that Ricardo Hug got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Martxelin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Clemencin in the 62nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Martxelin in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Angelino Clemencin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Orlandus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Martxelin in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Guanacos got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricardo Hug ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Eustaquio Martxelin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Eustaquio Martxelin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guanacos had won after a very even match.
