The corner led PANUNDA F C's Amahiyu Malhan to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 叶永雄 in the 25th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Anyuna Parab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Anyuna Parab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 42nd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Anyuna Parab. PANUNDA F C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
