Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. Alfonso Aloisi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfonso Aloisi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Cosimo Avesani's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosimo Avesani helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cosimo Avesani hit a great ball. Eugenio Stefano hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Edoardo Rinaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cosimo Avesani made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Elia Mascitti however managed to control. After having played for 20 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Navarro stood somewhat misplaced when Edoardo Rinaldi came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. After 37 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Valdieri's Alberto Andreola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Andreola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Sebastian Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edoardo Rinaldi to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Alfonso Aloisi got a free kick in the 51st minute. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cosimo Avesani, made in the 56th minute of the game. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Andreola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Dennis Berardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Andreola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Cosimo Avesani made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alfonso Aloisi. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Alberto Andreola in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edoardo Rinaldi's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Aloisi in the 84th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Rinaldi in the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Alfonso Aloisi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Alfonso Aloisi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute Edoardo Rinaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
