Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Hermengildo Nesor came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Winthont FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Nesor couldn't finish the play. Leif Hammarberg hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Leif Hammarberg. In the 11th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Winthont FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jaime Cazalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis did a great save. In the 23rd minute of the match Winthont FC got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yağızalp Öznur ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Leif Hammarberg heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Hermengildo Nesor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Hermengildo Nesor put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. In the 33rd minute, Hermengildo Nesor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Hermengildo Nesor scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Gayoso, making the score, 2-0. In the 45th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Hermengildo Nesor made the kick off in the second half. If Hermengildo Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 52nd minute, Hermengildo Nesor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. A sloppy throw-in by Fred Zandberg in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Kevin Carballal. Hermengildo Nesor took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Hermengildo Nesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Gorbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Arturo Carvallo with Jaime Cazalla as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Dennis Beerthuis made a huge save. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Winthont FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. Sixto Gorbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Sixto Gorbea took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Gorbea's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Gorbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixto Gorbea went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Winthont FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
