Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Benjamin Lara struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joinville Esporte Clube. 5 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's Benjamin Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Benjamin Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joinville Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but A.J. 韩文海 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Joinville Esporte Clube's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin Lara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benjamin Lara came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Benjamin Lara in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 30 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. After some careless play in the Joinville Esporte Clube defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of A.J. 韩文海. The Joinville Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that A.J. 韩文海 should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Joinville Esporte Clube booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amauri Vieira got free with Julio Vera in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 45 played minutes Joinville Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Victor Sena.

Bahattin Çeliker hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A.J. 韩文海 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Lara in the 62nd minute of play. A.J. 韩文海 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of play. In the 70th minute, one of Joinville Esporte Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Joinville Esporte Clube. Joinville Esporte Clube:s A.J. 韩文海 showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Joinville Esporte Clube made a substitution. Wágner Leme replaced Serginho Busquets. After a defensive mix-up in Joinville Esporte Clube's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. A.J. 韩文海 came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th match minute, Joinville Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Gimeno to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Joinville Esporte Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this A.J. 韩文海 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amauri Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerry Uchiha in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper A.J. 韩文海 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Joinville Esporte Clube.
