Júnior Zanette made a great header on Joinville Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Lara in the 12th minute of the match. If Benjamin Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Benjamin Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Lara in the 19th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Benjamin Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Joinville Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Júnior Zanette took the corner. The corner ended in Amauri Vieira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. 41 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's Benjamin Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Joinville Esporte Clube's Benjamin Lara got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Lara made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville Esporte Clube's Benjamin Lara. But to his dismay, Benjamin Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Benjamin Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joinville Esporte Clube's Gino Vander was substituted for Aílton Melo. Joinville Esporte Clube's Wágner Leme was substituted for Serginho Busquets. Joinville Esporte Clube made a substitution. Jerry Uchiha replaced Benjamin Lara. At last the ball reached Amauri Vieira at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Venezuela. 5-0. In the 66th match minute, Joinville Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Sena to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Joinville Esporte Clube's Jerry Uchiha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 71st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerry Uchiha in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. A.J. 韩文海 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Uchiha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerry Uchiha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 minutes of play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Jerry Uchiha made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Uchiha's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Jerry Uchiha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0.
