Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Demonde Jacobson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobías Astorga got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the game, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Carolo Bernat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Tobías Astorga got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Etxatxu came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rodrigo Rojas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 75 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Demonde Jacobson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 79 minutes of play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Carolo Bernat made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jamaall Padmore's late challenge caught a Atlético Nuevo Laredo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jamaall Padmore helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Jamaall Padmore. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Hitzeder in the 87th minute of play. Rodrigo Rojas took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobías Astorga in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Rodrigo Rojas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 16-0. Atlético Nuevo Laredo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
