Ulysses Abraão dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 28th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Ulysses Abraão was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 30 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Pombal came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Galvão came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF's Luciano Galvão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Wesley Pombal made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wesley Pombal in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Nunes in the 55th minute of the match. Falcão Simão hit a great ball. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rafa Penha, made in the 89th minute of the game. The 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
