Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Casaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Armani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Vergaray came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thiago Pliego could save by the left post. Franco Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laureano Vergaray to make the kick off. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Franco Armani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Javi Pinola hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 75th minute of play forced Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Franco Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Franco Armani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Orlando Casaus charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Vergaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
