Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Abiogenesis were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Delmar Libertad took the corner. Leonides Austin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Aritza got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Eladio having to interfere. Santiago Eladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abiogenesis the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 26th minute. Jacobo Aritza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Eladio. Santiago Eladio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Aritza got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Abiogenesis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Jacobo Aritza made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Jacobo Aritza made the kick off in the second half. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Jacobo Aritza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Jacobo Aritza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Eladio saved Abiogenesis from getting behind. If Fernan Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abiogenesis made a substitution. Cristo Maju replaced Jacobo Aritza. Abiogenesis's Joel Caetano was substituted for Eleuterio Iraido. Fernan Orlondon kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Maju in the 86th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Abiogenesis had won after a very even match.
