Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Julian Murillo made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Romero. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Romero in the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muharrem Sebih got free with Rolando Noboa in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muharrem Sebih in the 18th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dursun Ekinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dursun Ekinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muharrem Sebih. Peru were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Gençlerbirliği's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Alonso Berganza made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Gençlerbirliği's Dursun Ekinci managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dursun Ekinci was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Romero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Gençlerbirliği defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dursun Ekinci. The Gençlerbirliği fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dursun Ekinci should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Gençlerbirliği getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kristen Michálek hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Kristen Michálek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, Gençlerbirliği was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiph Låsberg to maneuver through the defense. Dursun Ekinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 59th minute of play. Dursun Ekinci was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 60 minute of play. Gençlerbirliği made a substitution. Bertil Winström replaced Kristen Michálek. In the 72nd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. 74 minutes into the match, Jean-Claude van Damme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Claude van Damme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dursun Ekinci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gençlerbirliği's Dursun Ekinci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dursun Ekinci came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Gençlerbirliği made a substitution. İhsan Temizkanoğlu replaced Filiph Låsberg. In the 83rd match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Alcocer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Peru's Eliseo Alcocer in the 88th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Dursun Ekinci was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Gençlerbirliği through an amazing save. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
