Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Zach Harrison in the 3rd minute of play forced Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Dursun Ekinci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muharrem Sebih in the 7th minute. Dursun Ekinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Muharrem Sebih tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Muharrem Sebih came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dursun Ekinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Muharrem Sebih left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gençlerbirliği fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 21st minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led USA's Cassius Byrne to fire away a dangerous shot which Dursun Ekinci despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dursun Ekinci having to interfere. Dursun Ekinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Mcdonald to maneuver through the defense. Cafer Korcan's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cafer Korcan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gençlerbirliği getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Cafer Korcan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gençlerbirliği's zone, Edward Mcdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dursun Ekinci came out of the goal and Edward Mcdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Conrado Romero made the kick off in the second half. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantijn Airpoel, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute of the match Gençlerbirliği got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stanislaw Rekowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Stanislaw Rekowski made a great header on Gençlerbirliği's corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. 57 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Dursun Ekinci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Romero in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Cassius Byrne could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Dursun Ekinci however easily saved by the left post. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Claude van Damme in the 83rd minute of play. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
