Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Alderson in the 4th minute of play. Bernardo Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Alvino Serre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ampthill FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. Chile's Pedro Indiano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernardo Abeijon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Abeijon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zack Alderson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Bernardo Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 24th minute of play. Bernardo Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Abeijon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. If Alvino Serre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Abeijon was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gez Little made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gez Little in the 53rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ampthill FC's Gez Little in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute, Alvino Serre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ampthill FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bernardo Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rdth minute of the game Gez Little who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
