Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Mike Padgett threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jefferson Terra took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Patricio Costa scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvio Ortle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jefferson Terra in the 20th minute. Silvio Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Czekaj. Silvio Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 29th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Franco Crispino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-1 in the 32 minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Gary Levine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The supporters of Conakry FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Czekaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Jefferson Terra made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Jefferson Terra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geoffrey Robillard during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 56 minutes in the game Mike Padgett did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gary Levine. 62 minutes into the game, Conakry FC's Jefferson Terra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Silvio Ortle made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Conakry FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 69 minutes, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Silvio Ortle. Geoffrey Robillard hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Ortle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Franco Crispino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After 79 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Cyrus Bradley scored 5-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Conakry FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Conakry FC's Silvio Ortle did a great save. After 96 minutes of play, Conakry FC's Cyrus Bradley made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Conakry FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
