Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Silvio Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 5th minute of play. Conakry FC's Silvio Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of play. Gary Levine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvio Ortle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jefferson Terra to make the kick off. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Ortle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvio Ortle made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. The Conakry FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
