Milagros Fraga struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Bryant Reina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Zbydniowski in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Zbydniowski came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
