Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zacarias Francesco kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 2nd minute. With an all-out effort, Characate FC's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zacarias Francesco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 4 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emre Can who took care of the corner kick. Gerardo Santikurtz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Zacarias Francesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Afonso in the 18th minute of play. Zacarias Francesco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Francesco in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Price having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Napierkowski during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Leon Napierkowski hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Zacarias Francesco tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rashid Paddington hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Francesco in the 57th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Francesco took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 81st minute Zacarias Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by David Lidman. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Leon Napierkowski hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Afonso in the 91st minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Zacarias Francesco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Characate FC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
