The audience thought a goal was coming when David Torres got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 minutes, Esteban Abeita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YESHUA F.C and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Esteban Abeita hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when YESHUA F.C's David Torres shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 21st minute, YESHUA F.C's David Torres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. With a left leg Ricardo Zamora saved YESHUA F.C from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as YESHUA F.C's David Torres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 36th minute of the game Esteban Abeita made a throw-in which Denílson Pernambucano played forward. After 44th play minutes David Torres shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. 47 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristos Contreras. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Torres made a kick off. YESHUA F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denílson Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Pernambucano came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by YESHUA F.C's David Torres. But to his dismay, David Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Torres in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the YESHUA F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. John Coracera took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
