Battle of death
Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Martín Ulloa got the match started through his kick off. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Ulloa in the 3rd minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match, Martín Ulloa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquin Gayoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 13th minute of play. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Carballal hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 25th minute of play. Martín Ulloa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tomás Benavides hit a great ball. Humberto Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Humberto Escobar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. 41 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Juan Benavides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Juan Benavides had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Jaime Cazalla's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Humberto Escobar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Benavides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Benavides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 60th minute. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 63rd minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Ulloa in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Guillermo Escalona got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 69 minutes, Ren Peng Fei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Benavides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 70th minute. Alberto Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martín Ulloa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Juan Benavides made a huge save. Juan Benavides made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Maximiliano Escribano sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Uruguay booed when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ren Peng Fei didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Martín Ulloa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Martín Ulloa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
