In the 4th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, pamponiros's Sakis Koutsopoulos got a free kick in the 6th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Servetiadis in the 10th minute of play. Tito Villalba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Tito Villalba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Natanael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chatziantoniou Kalevras hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. pamponiros's Fanis Giannakopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tito Villalba got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The pamponiros fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when pamponiros's Fondas Zachakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind pamponiros's goalkeeper Fanis Giannakopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by pamponiros's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. In the 39th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Rigoberto Mina off the ground. pamponiros made a substitution. Simos Chatzinathanail replaced Tito Villalba. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. The supporters of pamponiros booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Patricio Costa made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Nikos Servetiadis made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Servetiadis in the 60th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simos Chatzinathanail in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes pamponiros got a freekick which was hit by Chatziantoniou Kalevras. 76 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fondas Zachakis came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simos Chatzinathanail in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Servetiadis in the 85th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes pamponiros got a freekick which was hit by Chatziantoniou Kalevras. 94 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fondas Zachakis came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fondas Zachakis in the 96th minute of play. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
