Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. In the 4th minute of the match Veremundo Buyeres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grueso Armental having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Palzewicz in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Miguir were awarded a corner. Veremundo Buyeres went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Esterilla Busta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 10th minute Roch Palzewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguir were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Veremundo Buyeres took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Veremundo Buyeres in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grueso Armental was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Veremundo Buyeres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 28th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Palzewicz in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Miguir's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute Miguir were awarded a corner. Veremundo Buyeres went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Miguir's corner Cyril Michiels fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Veremundo Buyeres. In the 46th minute, Veremundo Buyeres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roch Palzewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguir's Grueso Armental proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Miguir from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grueso Armental read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Grueso Armental made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the game, Miguir's Roch Palzewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Miguir's Desiderio Pejuan was substituted for Veremundo Buyeres. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Roch Palzewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. A collision led to Miguir getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marquez Andres hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Miguir's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grueso Armental came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Desiderio Pejuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grueso Armental breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Grueso Armental tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grueso Armental saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Miguir's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Grueso Armental despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 89th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grueso Armental was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Palzewicz in the 96th minute of play. Miguir succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
