Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. A collision led to The Pontiac Bandit getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jason Bourne hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, The Pontiac Bandit's Osvaldo Cutberto got a free kick in the 6th minute. Victorino Hegoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Bourne in the 12th minute of play. Cristian Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abram Luque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Victorino Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Cristian Domenec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 44 minutes of play, The Pontiac Bandit's Alfonso Santacroce made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jason Bourne was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentino Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. The Pontiac Bandit were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after El Salvador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zbyszek Zaremba took the corner. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Artaldo in the 69th minute of play. Victorino Hegoi was a little too slow when Abram Luque got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-1. 74 minutes into the match, Cristian Domenec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Domenec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Mateo Leguizamo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Victorino Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Domenec, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Victorino Hegoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. Jason Bourne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save.
