Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Francisco Seco got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Anibal Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Anibal Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Victor Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Cordeiro in the 25th minute of play. 최 명 came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 최 명 was the one to do the kick off. It was Léo Messis who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Anibal Cordeiro advanced and headed the ball into goal, 5-1 in the 86th minute. Real Còrdoba FC's Fernando Abascal was substituted for Samir Gentiletti. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great ball.
