Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélder Fonseca. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Florian Capasso was slow to take the kick. During this time Merusca F&P - CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of USA's goalie and right to Anderson Vidal. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. USA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 25th minute, Geovani Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Fellipe Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. USA were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Merusca F&P - CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Jacob May fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mauro-Facundo Buffon quite easily take care of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Fonseca came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Merusca F&P - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Geovani Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Roberto Bolt was substituted for Hélder Fonseca. In the 69th minute Florian Capasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vihar Perchemliev hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, USA's Monty Rogers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro-Facundo Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. In the 76th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob May to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th match minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalju Vint to maneuver through the defense. Mauro-Facundo Buffon acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jenson Smith. Marcinho Sabóia struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merusca F&P - CIMZ. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Bolt in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Roberto Bolt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Geovani Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Khalid Parry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro-Facundo Buffon having to interfere. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Bolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
