With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Germano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carmelo Sifon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. With his leg Carlos Germano managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Real Madrid de Guatemala's Carmelo Sifon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 34th minute of the match. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Santamaria in the 38th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Real Madrid de Guatemala's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Jaizki came free, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustaquio Jaizki to make the kick off.
