Haiti's attentive Rodney Emmanuel managed to snatch the ball when Mauricio Lonzo made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Israel Seber during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Campana Gitanes Club getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Israel Seber hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Rene Artal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Rene Artal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Campana Gitanes Club's Leonardo Ibon in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Philippe Ambroise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe Ambroise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Innocenzio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Campana Gitanes Club's zone, Jonathan Alphonse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Innocenzio came out of the goal and Jonathan Alphonse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Alphonse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Jonathan Alphonse could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Florencio Innocenzio however easily saved by the left post. Florencio Innocenzio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonathan Alphonse showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 53 minute of play. Zeledon Ariando made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Edgardo Cucao. When Leonardo Maule came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Campana Gitanes Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Maule couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Campana Gitanes Club booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernso Constant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Campana Gitanes Club's Florencio Innocenzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 76th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Jonathan Alphonse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Florencio Innocenzio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Alphonse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Florencio Innocenzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Rene Artal notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernso Constant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Cucao got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rene Artal. Leonardo Maule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Campana Gitanes Club had won after a very even match.
