Bai Peng Ning blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bai Peng Ning in the 12th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 19th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. When Arne Lundberg came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Nusnäs IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Lundberg couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Ciriaco Gregory stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Ciriaco Gregory tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Nusnäs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Clodoveo Rojas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nusnäs IF's Bai Peng Ning in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Nusnäs IF's attentive Love Svensson managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute Svenne Berka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Rojas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bai Peng Ning in the 45th minute. Nusnäs IF's Clodoveo Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Arne Lundberg made the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval pulled a muscle in his leg after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Nusnäs IF's Svenne Berka got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clodoveo Rojas. Clodoveo Rojas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 72nd match minute, Nusnäs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Caspersson to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Clodoveo Rojas however easily saved by the left post. 80 minutes into the game, Henning Skager was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nusnäs IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Henning Skager kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Nusnäs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís King to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Nils-Erik Caspersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clodoveo Rojas, 0-4. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
