Aaron Tello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Aaron Tello dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-0. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 21st minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Tello in the 22nd minute of the match. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Leysus Oktavianus came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Örtendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matanza and Steelers were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jimmy Örtendal took the corner. The corner led Matanza and Steelers's Jimmy Örtendal to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Mexico's Alberto Tafalla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Ulrico Herzog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ulrico Herzog made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Renan Mendes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leysus Oktavianus, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Renan Mendes in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Limanowski to maneuver through the defense. Matanza and Steelers's Wiliam Peixoto was substituted for Aaron Tello. After a defensive mix-up in Matanza and Steelers's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Mendes came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leysus Oktavianus in the 85th minute of the match. Renan Mendes was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-2. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leysus Oktavianus in the 91st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Leysus Oktavianus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Renan Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
