Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Jimmy Örtendal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Jimmy Örtendal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 6 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 8 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. The long shot by Jimmy Örtendal in the 9th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 17 played minutes Matanza and Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Gonza Victoria. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Örtendal in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Tello got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's Gonza Victoria got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Limanowski in the 39th minute of the match. The throw-in from Gonza Victoria in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Gonza Victoria made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aaron Tello however managed to control. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leysus Oktavianus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Gonza Victoria threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jose Correa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 60th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulrico Herzog in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leysus Oktavianus in the 73rd minute of the match. Wiliam Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Peixoto in the 76th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Matanza and Steelers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jimmy Örtendal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Renan Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Ulrico Herzog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 95th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Jimmy Örtendal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Matanza and Steelers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
