Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Topsail getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Sabin Bălcescu hit a great ball. Topsail's Bill Carmichael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Facundo Cadaval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 12th minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Alberto Tafalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bill Carmichael quite easily take care of the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 24 in the game by Dawid Kochowski from a close distance when the talented Dante Lacasa managed to make a qualified save. Mexico's players were relieved. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Topsail's Bill Carmichael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Wendell Conn came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Topsail booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Topsail getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dawid Kochowski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of play forced Topsail's goalkeeper Bill Carmichael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dawid Kochowski struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topsail. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Topsail made a substitution. Juliusz Julku replaced Sondang Prabowo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dawid Kochowski made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Bill Carmichael threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wendell Conn in the 59th minute of play. Mexico's attentive Facundo Cadaval managed to snatch the ball when Juliusz Julku made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Wendell Conn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Kochowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Topsail's goalkeeper Bill Carmichael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Topsail getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Wendell Conn hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Topsail were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
