Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Machado Santianes started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Machado Santianes came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 played minutes Independiente del Río got a freekick which was hit by Ejder Sümer. Independiente del Río's Yin Cheng Han played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Independiente del Río getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ejder Sümer hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Yin Cheng Han tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yin Cheng Han took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Sarratea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Sarratea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 52 minutes into the match, Independiente del Río's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Yin Cheng Han reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Yin Cheng Han made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Independiente del Río was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Sueiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Baldaliso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Independiente del Río was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Sarratea to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Yin Cheng Han didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Independiente del Río's Emanuel Sueiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Yin Cheng Han managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Yin Cheng Han made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Machado Santianes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With a little luck, Independiente del Río's Yin Cheng Han got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Sueiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Emanuel Sueiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes Independiente del Río got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Baldaliso. In the 96th minute, Daniel Zorita fired a really elegant long shot, but Yin Cheng Han threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Ecuador played a much better game than Independiente del Río and deserved their victory. The Independiente del Río players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
