Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Nofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Hong Yi Yang's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Rolando Noboa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 53 minutes of play, Tello AFC's Martin Billing made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The corner led Tello AFC's Pastor Nofre to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 64th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Virgilio Van Dijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
