In the 25thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Central Norte de Salta's Amadeus Carrizo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeus Carrizo saved Central Norte de Salta from getting behind. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Central Norte de Salta's Danilo Tino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Lázaro Mark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Tino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Danilo Tino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeus Carrizo having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeus Carrizo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Danilo Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Central Norte de Salta's Amadeus Carrizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Central Norte de Salta from getting a goal against them. Valentin Montxo replaced Danilo Tino. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeus Carrizo. Amadeus Carrizo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amadeus Carrizo could save by the left post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Montxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Valentin Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
