Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dorel Cretu made the kick off which started today's match. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Truseni fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anibal Aritza. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Anibal Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorel Cretu in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes FC Truseni got a freekick which was hit by Alexei Jereghi. 27 minutes in the game Dorin Dobã did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leonid Nazaria. Teodor Cornea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Mircea Dadu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Aritza. Anibal Aritza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mircea Dadu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonid Nazaria in the 38th minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Anibal Aritza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Cretu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Dorel Cretu had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 48 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alexei Jereghi in the 58 minute of the game. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anibal Aritza having to make a save. Tudor Buga hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorel Cretu's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. FC Truseni made a substitution. Eugen Tabãrã replaced Radu Briceag. In the 74thth minute of the game Dorel Cretu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a FC Truseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Truseni booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Anibal Aritza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Vadim Speianu got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 82nd minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza didn't even have to move. FC Truseni's George Pãduret was substituted for Dorel Cretu. Anibal Aritza didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Truseni from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC Truseni booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Dadu in the 98th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
