C.A.JORGOVAN's Maximo Calixto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Marion in the 7th minute of play. Angel Medero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Juan Landry firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Amancio Osoitz fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.JORGOVAN's protests and gave Amancio Osoitz a yellow card for diving instead. Juan Landry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Fortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gabriel Goins hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Fortun got free with Juan Landry in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Juan Landry successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Maximo Calixto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sid Marion's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Anselmo Fortun managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.JORGOVAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Fortun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Landry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, Angel Medero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Landry was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Anselmo Fortun took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Landry. Juan Landry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Juan Landry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Gasteiz in the 38th minute of play. When Lucio Fero fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Maximo Calixto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Merlin Cummins went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for HISPANO FC. Merlin Cummins stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maximo Calixto. 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Fortun to make the kick off. HISPANO FC's Juan Landry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Fortun in the 53rd minute of play. Juan Landry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Fortun in the 56th minute of play. If Angel Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. Tadeo Paio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Segundo Olando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.JORGOVAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HISPANO FC the free kick. The supporters of HISPANO FC booed when C.A.JORGOVAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, C.A.JORGOVAN's Amancio Osoitz got a free kick in the 69th minute. C.A.JORGOVAN made a substitution. Christian Martxot replaced Anselmo Fortun. A collision led to C.A.JORGOVAN getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Amancio Osoitz hit a great ball. Maximo Calixto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Merlin Cummins. After 72 played minutes C.A.JORGOVAN got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Olando. A hard shot by Merlin Cummins from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Maximo Calixto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 80th minute, Christian Martxot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aaron Beila hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Ezequiel Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Martxot in the 93rd minute of play forced HISPANO FC's goalkeeper Juan Landry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Landry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Martxot's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
