A hard shot 6 in the game by Hipolito Elequemedo from a close distance when the talented Juan Landry managed to make a qualified save. HISPANO FC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, HISPANO FC's Victor Lutz got a free kick in the 8th minute. Fabian Abajas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind HISPANO FC's goalkeeper Juan Landry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Merlin Cummins kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Cipriano Corderun hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Telesforo to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the game, Moises Telesforo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 17 minutes, Charles Looney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HISPANO FC and the Academia Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Academia Club booed when HISPANO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Looney didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Academia Club's Cipriano Corderun in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HISPANO FC's goalie prevented a goal. Juan Landry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Elequemedo in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Hipolito Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sid Marion hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Academia Club's Cipriano Corderun got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute Cipriano Corderun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Landry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HISPANO FC's Juan Landry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Elequemedo in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sid Marion to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Cipriano Corderun made a precise shot to the right of Juan Landry. HISPANO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 56th minute, Pascual Burni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipolito Elequemedo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Landry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Academia Club's Hermengildo Arotza got control of the ball when Sid Marion tried to sneak it across the goal line. Merlin Cummins's late challenge caught a Academia Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merlin Cummins helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes HISPANO FC got a freekick which was hit by Merlin Cummins. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Edwardo during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Iker Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Arotza was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Sid Marion capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sid Marion really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The audience was convinced that Hipolito Elequemedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Landry was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Juan Landry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Elequemedo in the 93rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the HISPANO FC defense, Hipolito Elequemedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Landry. The HISPANO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Landry should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Academia Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
