Peron y Belgrano's Francisco Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Lleir in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Sixto Tabby recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amancio Paez. Sixto Tabby showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Norberto Omero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amancio Paez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Arturo Tulio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Amancio Paez was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Agustin Caton capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agustin Caton really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Amancio Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Caton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Agustin Caton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edgardo Lleir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Agustin Caton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amancio Paez. Falckner FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Caton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Lleir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Falckner FC's Edgardo Lleir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco Gutierrez. That made the score 4-2 after 53 minutes of play. In the 63rd minute Jonathan Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Izel. When Edgardo Lleir came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Falckner FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Lleir couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falckner FC's goalkeeper Amancio Paez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Falckner FC's zone, Agustin Caton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Paez came out of the goal and Agustin Caton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Norberto Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Omero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Paez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Agustin Caton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Amancio Paez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C. S. Peron y Belgrano fully deserved thier win.
