The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Elequemedo got free with Leonides Matteo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Serafino Rio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Hipolito Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascual Burni kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Enzo Remir scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermengildo Arotza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Cristofol in the 35th minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Hermengildo Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Enzo Remir made a precise shot to the right of Hermengildo Arotza. Academia Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Osmundo in the 41st minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Hermengildo Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Enzo Remir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half PLUMIN were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hipolito Elequemedo made a kick off. If Fabian Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Matteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Academia Club's Hermengildo Arotza got control of the ball when Enzo Remir tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Flavio Emeterio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Arotza. Academia Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Emeterio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After 62 played minutes PLUMIN got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Osmundo. After a rather tough play, PLUMIN's Jorge Cristofol got a free kick in the 74th minute. Leonides Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Kiliz in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Cristofol in the 77th minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Hermengildo Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Kiliz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Club's zone, Clodoveo Benvide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Arotza came out of the goal and Clodoveo Benvide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermengildo Arotza was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Jorge Cristofol capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorge Cristofol really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. In the 93rd match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Elequemedo to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Edelmiro Bibiano in the 94th minute really tested Hermengildo Arotza's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 95 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goalkeeper Hermengildo Arotza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Remir. PLUMIN's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
