Academia Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toby Futbol Club the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Ponce to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Savion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Alejo Bembe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toby Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Bembe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Arotza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Arotza having to interfere. Mauricio Silbestre struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Hermengildo Arotza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toby Futbol Club. In the 17th play minute Mauricio Silbestre came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hermengildo Arotza. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Toby Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Elequemedo came free, but Matias Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Silbestre succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 26th playminute. A collision led to Academia Club getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Javier Fero hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Moises Telesforo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toby Futbol Club's Matias Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Kiliz in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Hipolito Elequemedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Felipo. Toby Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Elequemedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 47th minute Augusto Mederi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Savion was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Augusto Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toby Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Mederi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Toby Futbol Club's Matias Felipo got control of the ball when Tomás Kiliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Mauricio Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hermengildo Arotza came out of the goal and Prospero Savion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Academia Club booed when Toby Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Silbestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Kiliz's late challenge caught a Toby Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Kiliz helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Kiliz. If Augusto Mederi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Club's zone, Mauricio Silbestre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Arotza came out of the goal and Mauricio Silbestre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Prospero Savion made a precise shot to the right of Hermengildo Arotza. Academia Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 83 minutes into the match, Prospero Savion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Arotza. Academia Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Savion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 86th minute, Augusto Mederi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toby Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Hipolito Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toby Futbol Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
