But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Santo couldn't finish the play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Juan Giraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Raúl Amuchástegui in the 18th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Christopher Bailey reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 3-0. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Raúl Amuchástegui in the 41st minute of the match. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Juan Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Santo in the 57th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Bailey in the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Forever Tango's Christopher Bailey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The supporters of Panama booed when Forever Tango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Raúl Amuchástegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Juan Giraldo in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Forever Tango had played much better football throughout.
