Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Septien having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Hector Septien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
