Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmondo Lepori was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Maritek FC's Daniele Gaudino got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Lepori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Maritek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiawuotu Adato didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Maritek FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmondo Lepori. The Maritek FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmondo Lepori should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armin Di Gennaro during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Abete's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Abete helped the player get up and apologised. Ciro Abete hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmondo Lepori. Edmondo Lepori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 31st minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Daniele Gaudino fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maritek FC's protests and gave Daniele Gaudino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Maritek FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Daniele Gaudino hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Edmondo Lepori. Maritek FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The Maritek FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.

Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Lepori having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Edmondo Lepori however easily saved by the left post. Edmondo Lepori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 55th minute of play. Maritek FC's Edmondo Lepori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 61st minute of play. In the 70th minute, Chiawuotu Adato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Luis Andino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edmondo Lepori, 0-5. Maritek FC's Edmondo Lepori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maritek FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Maritek FC's Edmondo Lepori managed to reach the ball for a save. The Maritek FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmondo Lepori should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maritek FC.
