Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gildo Linares during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Alan Galvão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Geovânio Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that David Aiach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Geovânio Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Aiach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Olímpico FC defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovânio Hoffmann. The Olímpico FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovânio Hoffmann should have stopped the shot. Geovânio Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 41st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gildo Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Dias came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Aiach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovânio Hoffmann didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Olímpico FC's Geovânio Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olímpico FC the free kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Aiach in the 75th minute of play. David Aiach took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Olímpico FC's David Aiach. But to his dismay, David Aiach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 85th match minute, Olímpico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Leão to maneuver through the defense. Olímpico FC's Geovânio Hoffmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Olímpico FC from getting a goal against them. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Geovânio Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, David Aiach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. If David Aiach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Olímpico FC had won after a very even match.
